1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (managed by Supabase Auth). We do not store passwords directly.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the Service, including conversation history, tool usage patterns, research summaries generated, and credit consumption. This data is used to provide and improve the Service.
Brokerage Data
If you connect a brokerage account via SnapTrade, we access your portfolio holdings, trade history, and account balances. This data is stored securely and used solely to provide personalized analysis. We never have access to your brokerage login credentials.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, session duration, device type). This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To generate structured research summaries based on your portfolio
- To send price alert notifications via email
- To process payments and manage subscriptions

3. Data Sharing
We share your data only with the following third-party services, solely to operate the Service:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- Anthropic — AI model provider (conversation content is sent for processing)
- SnapTrade — Brokerage data aggregation (if you connect a brokerage)
- PayPal — Payment processing
- Resend — Email notifications
- Tiingo, FRED, SEC EDGAR — Financial data providers (no personal data shared)
- Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, and row-level security policies on our database. Brokerage connection secrets are encrypted at rest.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Conversation history is stored indefinitely unless you delete individual conversations. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your conversation history and research summaries
- Disconnect your brokerage account at any time
- Opt out of non-essential emails
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Google Analytics uses cookies for anonymous usage tracking. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
8. AI and Your Data
Your conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI models. We send conversation content to Anthropic for processing but do not allow Anthropic to use your data for training their models. AI-generated outputs may be stored as part of your conversation history.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
